Sr Data Engineer - Snowflake - Brasil

We seek a Data Engineer Senior who shares our passion for innovation and change. This role is critical to helping our business partners evolve and adapt to consumers' personalized expectations in this new technological era.

What will help you succeed:

• Fluent English (B2 - Upper Intermediate +) - is possible to be flexible

  • Responsible for leading the migration of data pipelines and workloads from Cloudera to Snowflake, ensuring performance, scalability, and governance.
  • Plan and define data architecture, driving the evolution from AS-IS to TO-BE scenarios.
  • Design and implement data ingestion, transformation, and loading pipelines following data engineering best practices.
  • Drive architecture modernization by adopting standards such as ELT, Data Vault, and incremental/idempotent ingestion.
  • Proven experience in migrating large-scale data volumes (TB/PB), with a strong focus on performance and reliability.
  • Act as a Tech Lead, guiding technical decisions and mentoring other engineers on the team.
  • Implement CI/CD practices for versioning, testing, and automated deployment of data pipelines.
  • Ensure end-to-end observability (logs, metrics, alerts) and define troubleshooting strategies.
  • Apply FinOps practices, optimizing costs and ensuring efficient use of Snowflake resources.

  Requirements:
  Team leadership, stakeholder management, strong experience with Hadoop/Cloudera, Apache Spark, Snowflake, Streamlit, advanced SQL, and orchestration tools.
