Senior Data Engineer - BR-Sao Paulo

We seek a Data Engineer Senior and/or Expert Level who shares our passion for innovation and change. This role is critical to helping our business partners evolve and adapt to consumers' personalized expectations in this new technological era.

What will help you succeed:

• Fluent English (B2 – Upper Intermediate) with strong communication skills in technical and business discussions
• Strong experience in Data Engineering fundamentals, including distributed data processing and large-scale pipeline design
• Deep knowledge of SQL and advanced query optimization in analytical environments
• Experience working with relational and non-relational databases, including performance tuning and scalability strategies
• Strong experience with at least one major cloud platform: Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services
• Hands-on experience with modern data stack components such as distributed processing frameworks (e.g. Databricks, Apache Flink), orchestration tools (e.g. Apache Airflow / Composer), and streaming services 
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark (Scala or PySpark) and solid programming skills in Python or Java
• Experience designing and implementing scalable Data Lake and Lakehouse architectures

• Ability to design data architectures, not only implement tasks
