Detailed JD

We are seeking an experienced Java Tech Lead with 8-10 years exp with a strong background in Spring-based application development, container orchestration, and event-driven systems. This role requires both hands-on coding expertise and the ability to lead, mentor, and guide a team of developers in building scalable, high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of backend systems using Java and Spring Boot
Architect and implement scalable Microservices and distributed systems
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to development teams
Review code, enforce best practices, and ensure high-quality deliverables
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders for solution design
Drive adoption of Kubernetes (K8s/EKS) for container orchestration
Design and integrate messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus
Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical decision-making
Troubleshoot complex production issues and optimize system performance
Required Skills
Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8 or above)
Extensive experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud)
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s or EKS)
Experience with messaging systems: Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus
Proven experience in leading teams or mentoring developers
Strong understanding of distributed systems and system design
Experience building RESTful APIs and Microservices
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
Leadership & Mentoring Expectations
Mentor junior and mid-level developers, helping them grow technically
Conduct regular code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions
Drive engineering best practices and coding standards
Act as a technical point of contact for the team
Encourage a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
Familiarity with Docker and containerization
Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Nice to Have
Exposure to event-driven architecture
Experience with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd)
Knowledge of security and performance optimization in Microservices"
