We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Cloud Migration Specialist with proven experience in migrating VMware workloads (vCenter/ESXi) from on-premise or hyperscaler environments to Google Cloud Platform using HCX or native migration tools. This role requires hands-on experience with GCE and/or Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE) and strong foundational skills in managing cloud infrastructure. 

 

● Lead and execute end-to-end cloud migrations of VMware-based workloads using HCX, Migrate for Compute Engine, or other native tooling 

● Conduct discovery, assessment, planning, and execution phases for enterprise migration projects 

● Collaborate directly with customers and cross-functional technical teams to design and implement migration strategies 

● Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and network-related issues during migration 

● Configure and manage Google Cloud components, including VMs, networks, firewalls, and load balancers   

 

● 5+ years of experience with VMware (vCenter/ESXi) workload migrations 

● Deep knowledge of migration tools such as VMware HCX, Google Migrate for Compute Engine (M4CE), and GCVE 

● Strong foundation in cloud infrastructure: VM provisioning, virtual networking, firewalls, and load balancing 

● Experience working in customer-facing roles and collaborating across teams in high-stakes migration initiatives 

● Excellent communication and documentation skills
