Cloud Engineer AWS , Expert-Level

We seek a Cloud Engineer AWS , Expert-Level who shares our passion for innovation and change. This role is critical to helping our business partners evolve and adapt to consumers' personalized expectations in this new technological era.

This role will work closely with sales teams, Globant solution owners, industry CEOs and CTOs and various stakeholders such as our Globant  cloud, data and engineering teams (across different Studios) to ensure that proposals cover AWS expertise, maximize partner’s funding and correct use of AWS accelerators; being a bridge between AWS Studio and the sales and delivery teams at Globant per industry and region. 

The ideal candidate will possess strong AWS technical skills together with client facing skillsets to strengthen the relationship with AWS as well as Globant clients. This position will have to get to understand AWS Globant value proposition and accelerators, publish them in AWS marketplace, build technical success cases, respond to technical questions, update presentations, help make ARR estimates and make insightful questions to understand the customer infrastructure teams and practices.

A hunger to gain trust of CEOS and CTOs at Globant is a must, exposure to industry leaders at Globant and experience as a solution owner and pure cloud architect or AI growing within the role is necessary to be successful.

What will help you succeed:

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in cloud architecture (any cloud platform), data/ AI or Engineering with the willingness to work and be coached primarily as a pure architect and coordinator, adjust, update, write documentation, deployment diagrams, etc to meet specific client requests.

  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPNs, subnetting, etc.) and security measures related to cloud architecture.

• Soft Skills:

  • Detail-oriented, capable of remembering and taking notes on project context and status details across conversations with many stakeholders.

  • Strong communication skills, able to present technical ideas flexibly and in alignment with client expectations.

  • Ability to work reactively to inquiries and provide timely responses.

  • Team collaborator, transparent and ethical leader able to work in a matrix environment

  • Hands-on attitude, make things happen approach
