About the role

Globant is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect with strong expertise in Java and AWS to support the design and delivery of scalable technology solutions.

The ideal candidate combines a strong technical background with excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with engineering teams, business stakeholders, and clients to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and define scalable technology solutions using Java and AWS.

• Translate business and technical requirements into solution designs and architecture.

• Provide technical guidance to development and engineering teams throughout implementation.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and other technical teams to deliver effective solutions.

• Evaluate technical requirements, dependencies, and potential architecture improvements.

• Support application integration and cloud-based initiatives.

• Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.

• Document solution designs, architecture decisions, and technical recommendations.

• Communicate technical concepts and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required qualifications

• Strong experience in solution architecture, application architecture, or a similar technical role.

• Strong experience with Java and Java-based applications.

• Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-based solutions.

• Understanding of software architecture, system design, and application integration.

• Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and clients.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience designing scalable enterprise applications.

• Experience with cloud architecture and application modernization.

• Familiarity with microservices and API-based architectures.

• Experience working in Agile environments.

• AWS certifications are a plus.
