IT Project Manager

About the role

Globant is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and coordinate technology projects from planning through delivery.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing cross-functional technology initiatives, coordinating technical and business teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and according to business requirements. Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT projects throughout the full project lifecycle, from planning through implementation and delivery.

• Define and track project scope, timelines, milestones, priorities, and deliverables.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, technology, business, and other stakeholders.

• Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, dependencies, blockers, and potential delays.

• Facilitate project meetings and provide clear status updates to stakeholders.

• Partner with technical and business teams to ensure alignment on project requirements and priorities.

• Manage changes in project scope, timelines, and requirements.

• Maintain project plans, documentation, status reports, and other project-related materials.

• Support issue resolution and ensure appropriate follow-up on project actions and decisions.

• Help ensure projects are delivered according to established quality and business expectations.

Required qualifications

• 6–9 years of experience in IT Project Management or a similar role.

• Experience managing technology projects from planning through delivery.

• Strong project planning, organization, and coordination skills.

• Experience working with cross-functional technical and business teams.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Experience managing project timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.

• Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.

• Experience supporting software development or technology implementation projects.
