About the role

We are seeking a qualified Full Stack Java Developer. This role is responsible for performing the essential functions listed below and requires the skills and experience described.

Job responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications.
• Develop front-end functionality using React.js.
• Build and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Develop and support workflow solutions using Camunda.
• Work with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and EKS.
• Build and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure application quality and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
• Leverage AI tools and capabilities throughout the SDLC to improve development efficiency, code quality, testing, documentation, and problem-solving.
• Stay current with Java, cloud, AI, and software development technologies and recommend improvements when appropriate.

Minimum qualifications

• Strong professional experience with Java development.
• Hands-on experience with React.js.
• Experience with Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Experience with Camunda workflow development.
• Experience working with AWS, particularly:
  • EC2
  • Lambda
  • API Gateway
  • S3
  • EKS
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with unit testing, debugging, and code reviews.
• Experience using AI tools throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work on-site 5 days per week in Jersey City, NJ.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in large enterprise environments.
• Experience designing and developing highly scalable applications.
• Experience with CI/CD and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience integrating AI into software engineering and development workflows.
• Strong understanding of software development best practices and design principles.

Compensation: The anticipated base pay range for this position is $100,000 to $131,000 per year depending on experience, skills, location, and internal equity.
