About the role

We are seeking a qualified Full Stack Developer. As a lead engineer, you will partner with developers, stakeholders, and other members of an Agile development team to design, build, and implement complex technical solutions.The ideal candidate is a strong full-stack engineer who can work across both front-end and back-end development, contribute to technical design, perform code reviews, and implement highly complex user stories. You will also help explore and develop new technical capabilities that leverage Generative AI to support the bank's technology and business needs.

This role is responsible for performing the essential functions listed below and requires the skills and experience described.

 

Minimum qualifications

  • Strong professional experience in full-stack software development.
  • Hands-on experience with both front-end and back-end development.
  • Experience developing and integrating web applications, APIs, and backend services.
  • Strong understanding of databases, server-side development, and application performance.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
  • Experience implementing complex user stories and technical requirements.
  • Experience contributing to technical design and architecture.
  • Experience participating in code reviews and maintaining high-quality production code.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Experience with Generative AI / AI technologies and the ability to explore new AI-driven technical capabilities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly when working with developers and technical/business stakeholders.

 

Job responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain front-end and back-end components of web applications.
  • Implement highly complex user stories and technical solutions.
  • Partner with Agile development teams and business/technical stakeholders to understand requirements.
  • Contribute to technical architecture and design alongside other developers.
  • Design and implement responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
  • Develop server-side logic and maintain databases to ensure application performance and scalability.
  • Integrate front-end applications with backend services and APIs.
  • Explore and develop new technical capabilities leveraging Generative AI.
  • Participate in and support code reviews, ensuring code quality and maintainability.
  • Perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure functionality, performance, and security.
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, developers, and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices, tools, and technical capabilities.

 

Compensation: The anticipated base pay range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000 per year depending on experience, skills, location, and internal equity.
