Java Developer (Node) Monterrey

• 5-7 years of professional experience in software development.

• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for backend development.

• Hands-on experience with Node.js and npm.

• Solid understanding of backend server and frontend development architecture.

• Experience with Maven for Java project build and dependency management.

• Familiarity with Node.js and npm for package management and build tooling.

• Demonstrated experience fixing (not just finding) vulnerabilities:

• Understanding of secure web fundamentals: TLS, HTTP security headers, session management, JWT/OAuth2/OIDC, password storage, input validation/encoding, and logging/monitoring.

• Hands-on experience with SCA tools—preferably Black Duck—including interpreting and remediating license and security policy violations.

• Familiarity with OWASP ASVS (L1–L3) and ability to map findings to ASVS controls.

• Experience with unit testing and test-driven development.

• Experience with relational databases.

• Understanding of tools like Azure and Jenkins for cloud hosting and deployments.

• Understanding of application security basics for development.

• Good debugging and solutioning skills.
