Technical Tester

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Tester to support our workflow automation initiatives, focusing primarily on data-driven projects without a user interface. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring software quality through robust automated testing and close collaboration with development teams.

You will get the chance to:

• Design, develop, and execute automated tests for backend workflow processes with no UI components.
  
  

• Implement and maintain unit tests in Java (for a quoting workflow project) and automated tests in Python (for a liquidation workflow project).
  
  

• Collaborate with developers and analysts to understand data flows and define effective test cases.
  
  

• Contribute to the automation of end-to-end tests, evaluating and integrating appropriate tools and frameworks.
  
  

• Analyze test results, identify bugs, and work with the team to resolve issues efficiently.
  
  

• Document test strategies, test cases, and results.
  
  

What will help you succeed:

• Proven experience in technical testing, particularly on non-UI projects (e.g., backend systems, data pipelines, APIs).
  
  

• Strong proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Java and Python.
  
  

• Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., JUnit, PyTest).
  
  

• Experience designing automated tests for complex, data-driven systems.
  
  

• Strong collaboration skills, especially working with developers, data engineers, and DevOps.
  
  

• High attention to detail and a strong focus on software quality.
  
  

Nice to Have:

• Experience in requirements gathering and functional analysis.
  
  

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automated deployment pipelines.
  
  

• Knowledge of advanced test automation frameworks and methodologies.
