Tech Leader - Digital Banking Channels

We seek a Tech Leader, with proven experience in the banking sector, who shares our passion for innovation and change. This role is critical to helping our business partners evolve and adapt to consumers' personalized expectations in this new technological era.

The profile will be responsible for designing and implementing robust architectures, managing development teams, and effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What will help you succeed:

Required Experience

• At least 10 years of experience in enterprise software development
• Significant experience in Banking or Financial Services projects
• Experience in managing technical teams and complex projects
• Experience in client-facing contexts and collaboration with technical and business stakeholders

Required Technical Skills

• Backend & Architecture

- Excellent knowledge of Java and the Spring / Spring Boot framework
- Experience in developing microservices architectures
- Solid experience in designing and integrating through REST APIs and SOAP services

• Database & Data Management

- Experience with Oracle relational databases
- Excellent SQL knowledge
- Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB or similar)

• Messaging & Distributed Systems

- Experience with Kafka or messaging/event streaming platforms
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures

• Performance & Scalability

- Caching strategies (Redis, Hazelcast, or similar)
- Payload optimization
- Application performance tuning

• Application Security

- API security
- Authentication and authorization
- Secure system-to-system integrations

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud-native architectures
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Experience with API Gateways

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership

- Lead the architectural design and development of enterprise applications in the banking domain
- Define and promote development, security, and performance best practices
- Support teams in developing scalable microservices-based architectures

• Digital Channels & Integration

- Design and implement solutions for digital banking channels (Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Customer Portals, Core Banking System Integration)
- Define and implement integration strategies through REST APIs and SOAP services
- Optimize payload, caching, and application performance for high-transaction-volume systems

• Client Interaction

- Act as the technical point of reference for the client (IT, architecture, product owners)
- Participate in architecture workshops, technical analysis, and solution definition sessions
- Support solution design and presales activities

• Coordination & Delivery

- Lead and coordinate complex development teams
- Manage projects with multiple workstreams and integrations across heterogeneous systems
- Ensure adoption of security and compliance standards typical of the banking sector
