Legal Business Counsel

We seek a Legal Business Counsel who shares our passion for innovation and change. This role is critical to helping our business partners evolve and adapt to consumers' personalized expectations in this new technological era. 

You will get the chance to:

• Negotiate and close good MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, Supplier Agreements, Marketing, product licenses, and SaaS deals;
• As Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for leading deep relationship-focused negotiations with the largest companies in the world;
• Excellent writing skills both in Italian and English. Spanish language would be a plus;
• Be a legal generalist and tech law expert, including, among others, deep knowledge in civil and commercial laws, IP, privacy law, financial regulations, and data protection regulations;
• Analyze marketing, human resources, financial, and commercial projects and initiatives to provide practical legal advice across multiple jurisdictions;
• Advice on complex legal issues, including data leaks, security of information, and personal data breaches, and international data transfers;
• Support compliance, corporate, and business teams on data protection laws and governance requirements;
• Participate in M&A operations through integrations of acquired companies;
• Manage and coordinate external law firms.
• Coordinate and manage potential judicial and non-judicial disputes.
• Continuous update towards developments in new laws, regulations, important judgements and regulatory guidance.
• Elaboration and knowledge of RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and public tenders.

What will help you succeed:

• Fluency in English and Italian, oral and written. Spanish would be a plus;
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department;
• Negotiation of national and international contracts;
• Negotiation Skills.
• Experience in the labor law field.
• Experience negotiating tech-related deals.
• Experience in the technology space.
• Highly collaborative person.
• Discrete and low-profile behaviour.
• Ambition to grow while helping the business grow.
