Business Analyst- Banking - IT

We Are seek a Senior Business and Functional Analyst with experience and deep knowledge of BANKING/ FINANCIAL SERVICES and banking processes across direct channels (Internet Banking Web & Mobile Banking), who shares our passion for innovation and change. This role is critical to helping our business partners evolve and adapt to consumers' personalized expectations in this new technological era.

• Fluent English (C1 or B2 - Upper Intermediate).

• Bachelor's degree in banking and finance, business administration, information technology, Economics and Management, Management Engineering, Computer Engineeringor or similar degrees. 

• The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, the ability to interact with stakeholders at different levels, and previous experience working on complex projects in the financial services industry.

• Programming languages: Oracle Sql (Intermediate Queries) and MySql 

• experience in Banking, Financial Services

• Knowledge in Agile (Scrum, Kanban, Lean) or at least active participation in Agile teams developing software solutions.

• Experience using Rally, JIRA, TFS or any other advanced tool for Agile teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and formalize functional and non-functional requirements for Internet Banking and Mobile Banking channel evolutions
• Produce functional analysis documentation (BRD, FSD, user stories, use cases, functional wireframes) conforming to client standards
• Independently conduct requirements workshops, discovery sessions, and refinements with client Business and IT stakeholders
• Collaborate with UX designers and solution architects to ensure consistency between functional requirements, user experience, and technical constraints
• Manage requirements traceability and mapping between business requirements, functional specifications, and test cases
• Support UAT and functional validation phases, serving as the reference for requirements interpretation
• Analyze the impact of new regulations (PSD2/PSD3, DORA, WCAG accessibility) on digital channels and translate them into implementation requirements
• Contribute to the functional roadmap definition for digital channels in collaboration with the client’s Product Owner
• Manage functional communication with third-party vendors involved in the channel ecosystem

Mandatory Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 5–8 years as a Business Analyst in Banking or Financial Services, with at least 3 years on direct digital channel projects (Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Banking Apps).
• Analytical autonomy: Proven ability to independently lead the entire functional analysis cycle, from requirements gathering to validation, without constant supervision.
• Domain knowledge: Deep knowledge of banking processes on digital channels: transactional operations (transfers, payments, trading), informational services (balances,
transactions, documents), digital onboarding, strong customer authentication (SCA), notifications and communications.
• Documentation: Ability to produce structured, clear, and complete analysis documentation (BRD, FSD, user stories with acceptance criteria, flow diagrams, requirements mapping).
• Stakeholder interaction: Excellent ability to interface with diverse stakeholders (Business, IT, UX, vendors) and mediate between competing needs.
• Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills in Italian; good English
proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

• CBAP, CCBA, or equivalent business analysis certifications
• Experience with prototyping tools (Figma, Axure) and ability to produce functional

Wireframes

• Knowledge of API-first architectures, microservices, and banking integration patterns
• Familiarity with industry regulations (PSD2/PSD3, DORA, GDPR, EBA Guidelines on ICT)
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and requirements management tools
