Solution Architect

About the Role:
 

At Globant, we are seeking a Solution Architect to play a key role in bridging business objectives with technology capabilities. This individual will support a team of business-side Product Owners (POs) in defining, shaping, and documenting technical solutions that meet commercial goals while aligning with enterprise architecture standards.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical foundation and knowledge of the airline industry. This role demands a balance of technical design and clear, effective communication across stakeholders, ensuring all involved parties—from business analysts to enterprise architects—have a shared understanding of proposed solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Communication & Stakeholder Engagement (approx. 50%)

• Facilitate communication between business POs and development teams.
   

• Translate commercial product expectations and constraints for technical teams.
   

• Support agile squads and POs in understanding and implementing solution outlines.
   

• Relay squad feedback and technical constraints back to business stakeholders.
   

• Participate in discovery workshops, architecture reviews, and follow-up sessions.
   

• Present architectural decisions and rationale to various stakeholder groups.
   

• Align solution discussions with broader enterprise architecture directions.
   

Architecture & Design Documentation (approx. 50%)

• Develop Solution Outlines (SOs) from partially defined business inputs.
   

• Collaborate with technical leads, architects, and POs to validate solution approaches.
   

• Identify and document reuse opportunities and existing technical debt.
   

• Ensure SOs are updated to reflect evolving business and architectural requirements.
   

• Conduct impact assessments and provide documentation to support governance processes.
   

• Prepare and present documentation for architectural review boards.
   

• Maintain up-to-date documentation of solution architectures and related artefacts.
   

• Ensure traceability between business needs and architectural decisions.
   

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Business Analyst, or a similar role.
   

• Strong technical background; experience in enterprise or solution architecture preferred.
   

• Experience working in the airline industry.
   

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
   

• Experience working in agile development environments.
   

• Proficiency in preparing technical documentation accessible to both business and technical audiences.
   

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
