At Globant, we combine innovation, design, and engineering to scale digital solutions for some of the world’s most recognized brands. We are looking for a React Architect to join our Digital Experience Studio and help us craft scalable, high-performing, and user-centric applications.

Responsibilities

• Define, design, and implement architecture for complex web applications using React.js and related technologies.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, UX/UI designers, and developers to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Establish coding standards, best practices, and reusable component libraries to ensure consistency across teams.

• Lead and mentor development teams, providing guidance on React ecosystem (Redux, Hooks, Context API, Next.js, etc.).

• Drive performance optimization, security, accessibility, and responsiveness of web applications.

• Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance solution architecture.

• Work closely with backend architects to ensure seamless integration of APIs and services.

• Participate in code reviews, architecture reviews, and solution design discussions.

• Support migration and modernization initiatives for legacy systems to React-based architectures.

Requirements

• 10–20 years of overall experience in software development with at least 6+ years of hands-on React.js experience.

• Strong expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend tooling (Webpack, Babel, ESLint, etc.).

• Experience with state management libraries like Redux, MobX, or Context API.

• Proficiency in Next.js or other SSR frameworks.

• Familiarity with micro-frontends, modular architecture, and component-driven design.

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and backend integration.

• Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.

• Exposure to automated testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).

• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of design systems (Material UI, Chakra UI, custom design tokens).

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Understanding of performance monitoring tools like Lighthouse, New Relic, or Datadog.
