Acquiring Risk Director - Vietnam

We seek a Acquiring Risk Director (Vietnam only) who shares our passion for innovation and change. This role is critical to helping our business partners evolve and adapt to consumers' personalized expectations in this new technological era.

YOU WILL GET THE CHANCE TO: 

• Support the implementation of required changes to the Clients’ environment (Strategic Policy Framework settings, Risk appetite, Exposure calculations, Periodic portfolio management, Ongoing monitoring activities, Scheme compliance activities, Fraud Decisioning Tools)
• Understand client needs and present tailored solutions for managing the merchant risk ecosystem
• Create & iterate merchant risk management materials and presentations for varying degrees of management & operational teams
• Lead day-to-day operational reviews of the merchant portfolio; identify and implement responses to potential risks or threats
• Manage projects and programs effectively
• Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive environment for Visa solutions
• Leverage understanding to shape solutions that differentiate Visa
• Demonstrate executive presence in leading conversations with clients and internal senior leaders at Visa
• Communicate across functional stakeholders (for varying levels and technical expertise)
• Identify key stakeholders and processes; spot challenges and opportunities across the client’s organisation
• Incentivize cross-functional teamwork by aligning cross-functional incentives
• Lead / influence the client’s team effectively and coach teams 

WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED? 

• 12+ years of experience experience in payments, merchant acquiring, with strong focus on operational setup and execution as it relates to merchant lifecycle risk management
• Bachelor’s level qualification; MBA preferred
• Experience in merchant acquiring or acquiring risk 
• Experience on Legal & Compliance background in banking 
• Demonstrated ability to influence client organisations
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, ability to measure the financial/non-financial impact to a client
• Conversant in fraud risk management systems and technology
• Entrepreneurial mindset energized by the possibility of building a new business
• Knowledge of the competitive environment across segments
• Collaborative approach with internal and external partners
• Resilient in navigating through ambiguity and translating the theoretical to applicable
• Growth mindset that embraces creativity, optimism, and failing-fast
• Fluent in English
