We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer — Functional to ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of our digital solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in functional testing, test planning, defect management, and working closely with development and product teams to deliver high-quality software.

What You Will Be Doing

• Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Jira.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other QA engineers to investigate and resolve issues.
• Validate that new features meet defined business and acceptance criteria.
• Perform exploratory testing to identify potential issues not covered by predefined test cases.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support release validation and ensure software meets the required quality standards.
• Maintain clear QA documentation and contribute to improving testing processes and best practices.

Must Have

• 3+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance / Functional Testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with manual functional testing.
• Experience creating test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience with defect tracking tools, preferably Jira.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective testing scenarios.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• API testing experience using tools such as Postman.
• Basic SQL/database testing knowledge.
• Experience with test management tools.
• Exposure to test automation.
• Experience working on large-scale digital platforms or enterprise applications.
• Experience working with CI/CD environments.
