Test Lead - Banking & AI Automation

As a Test Lead, you will lead the QA delivery for a high-profile Mobile Banking rollout. You will be the primary link between our Dublin-based stakeholders and our Offshore delivery teams, ensuring a seamless "follow-the-sun" testing model.

Your goal is to drive quality across multiple bank departments while using AI-driven automation to speed up release cycles.

You will get the chance to:

• Global Delivery: Work closely with our offshore teams to ensure seamless delivery. You are responsible for the hand-over, quality of output, and synchronisation between Dublin and global sites.

• Cross-Department Collaboration: Act as the QA authority across different bank departments (Dev, Product, DevOps, and Risk) to ensure our delivery integrates perfectly with the bank's eco system

• Strategy: Own and lead end-to-end strategy covering: Unit, Functional, end to end , performance and non-functional testing. Manual and Automated streams.

• AI Acceleration: Identify and implement AI tools to accelerate test case generation and script maintenance (e.g., self-healing frameworks).

• The Tech Stack: Hands-on leadership using Appium and WebdriverIO using typescript executing large-scale tests via SauceLabs.

• User-Centric Design: Map out complex customer journeys and personas to ensure the banking experience is intuitive and bug-free.

What will help you succeed:

• Tier 1 Banking Experience: You understand the complexity, security standards, and regulatory requirements of a major financial institution.

• Mobile Expert: Deep, hands-on experience in mobile app testing (iOS/Android).

• Automation Mastery: Professional experience building frameworks with WebdriverIO and Appium.

• Team Lead Profile: Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive offshore productivity.

• Reporting: Excellent ability to translate technical test data into clear status reports for bank stakeholders.

• Communication: Excellent communicator who creates and maintains good relationship with fellow colleagues and clients

This job can be filled in Dublin- Ireland and on Contract for 6 months to start with and can be extended.
