Sr Operations Specialist

At GUT we seek Senior Operations Specialist, who shares our passion for innovation and change. This role is critical to helping our business partners evolve and adapt to consumers' personalized expectations in this new digital marketing era.

Purpose of the position

Responsible for defining, planning and executing all operations tasks within scope. Leading or supporting organizational processes, systems and structures to effectively plan and operationally execute at the Portfolio/Region level. Partner with Capacity (hiring strategies, requirement management, execution to meet targets) and define, schedule and track completion of talent and organizational related programs to meet defined goals.

Interface with all staff areas and ensure compliance with financial, legal and corporate policies and lead corporate initiatives.

Lead the Operations pod within the portfolio / region, which comprises other Operations Specialists and Managers.

The Operations Manager’s ultimate goal is to seek efficiency within the assigned portfolio/region and identify and propose process improvements, as well as find insights from performance metrics and KPIs to propose plans and strategy teaming with portfolio/region governance pod.

Task and responsabilities

• Analyze performance dashboards or create them when needed. Suggest performance metrics, if necessary. Work closely with Business Controlling and Operations Controlling teams.

• Create tracking tools for the Operations pod.

• Finance: billing, financial forecast update, actuals review and reclassifications, collections follow up. 

• Travel: trips, visas and relocations (request and follow up). 

• Administration: clients, projects, rates management on Globant tools. 

• Capacity: assignments, releases, team time tracking 

• Others: keep track of contracts status, Facilities & IST issues, additional payments, Procurement, non billed cost and other important KPIs.
