We're currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Engineer / Microsoft Fabric Platform Architect to lead the foundation and standardization of a next-generation enterprise data platform.

This is a hands-on architecture role focused on building a scalable, secure, and governable Microsoft Fabric environment that enables teams to develop data products efficiently and consistently.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement enterprise-grade Microsoft Fabric workspace architecture
• Establish Development and Production environments with clear separation and governance
• Define platform standards, naming conventions, and organizational structures for:
  • Workspaces
  • Lakehouses
  • Warehouses
  • Pipelines
  • Semantic models
• Consolidate and rationalize existing Fabric assets to create a scalable platform foundation
• Configure OneLake and Lakehouse architectures following modern data platform principles
• Implement a lightweight Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold)
• Define reusable patterns for ingestion, transformation, and data product development
• Create engineering templates and accelerators to support future platform growth
• Design and implement role-based access control (RBAC) strategies
• Define workspace ownership and governance models
• Establish secure environment separation and baseline security controls
• Define lightweight CI/CD practices for Fabric deployments
• Enable teams to build and scale data solutions without rebuilding foundational infrastructure

What will help you succeed:

• • Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
  • Strong background as a Senior Data Engineer, Data Architect, or Platform Architect
  • Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise data platforms
  • Deep knowledge of:
    • Microsoft Fabric Workspaces
    • OneLake
    • Lakehouses
    • Data Warehouses
    • Data Pipelines
    • Security & Governance Models
  • Experience defining platform standards, engineering frameworks, and best practices
  • Strong understanding of data platform scalability, operational readiness, and governance
  • Ability to drive architecture decisions in fast-paced and evolving environments

  Nice to Have

  • Experience with Azure Data Platform services
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD practices
  • Experience implementing Medallion Architecture patterns
  • Exposure to enterprise data governance and compliance frameworks
  • Previous consulting or platform modernization experience
