Java Architect (AWS, Kafka)

We are looking for an experienced Java Architect to lead the design and evolution of scalable, high-performance distributed systems. This role focuses on modern cloud-native architectures built with Spring Boot microservices, event-driven patterns, and AWS cloud services, ensuring robustness, scalability, and maintainability across enterprise-grade platforms.

The ideal candidate combines strong architectural vision with hands-on technical expertise and a deep understanding of distributed systems design, messaging patterns, and test-driven development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead the overall solution architecture for microservices-based systems.
• Design and implement event-driven architectures using messaging and streaming patterns.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure alignment with architectural standards and best practices.
• Drive adoption of cloud-native design principles and scalable system patterns.
• Provide technical leadership in Spring Boot microservices development.
• Design asynchronous communication flows using Kafka and AWS SQS.
• Architect and optimize solutions in AWS cloud environments.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, security, and performance across services.
• Establish and enforce Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices and code quality standards.
• Conduct architecture reviews, technical mentoring, and design guidance for development teams.
• Work closely with DevOps, QA, and Product teams to ensure end-to-end solution delivery.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks in distributed system designs.
