Data Scientist with Machine Learning Expert-Level

We seek a Data Scientist with Machine Learning Expert-Level who shares our passion for innovation and change. This role is critical to helping our business partners evolve and adapt to consumers' personalized expectations in this new technological era.

What will help you succeed:

• Fluent English (B2 - Upper Intermediate).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or a similar role.
• Solid backend development experience, particularly with Python and APIs.
• Proven ability to build and maintain cloud data pipelines on GCP.
• Experience with distributed computing frameworks like Apache Spark.
• Strong working knowledge of Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Good understanding of databases and data structures (both relational and non-relational).
• Experience working in Agile teams and sprint-based environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code practices.
• Experience with object-oriented programming, unit testing, and test-driven development (TDD).
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or Azure Databricks is preferred.
• Familiarity with secure coding practices and handling PII data is preferred.
• Experience working with both structured and unstructured data is preferred.
• Exposure to retail datasets, including in-store and eCommerce data is preferred.
• Understanding of data science workflows and experience productionising ML models is preferred.
