Senior Test Automation Engineer

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team focused on enhancing the quality of our cloud-based applications from the medical field. The project involves migrating existing automation tests from Selenium to Playwright while developing new automated test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of our applications. You will work closely with developers and other QA team members to identify testing needs, execute test plans, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes.

Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright in Python.
* Migrate existing Selenium test cases to Playwright.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and strategies.
* Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback on automated test scripts.
* Measure and report on test coverage.
* Utilize AI tools and frameworks for optimizing the testing process.
* Participate in Agile/Scrum methodologies as part of the development team.

Tech Stack

* Python (intermediate to advanced), JavaScript (TypeScript is a plus), Playwright, Selenium (legacy), AWS, BDD (Cucumber)

Requirements

* Minimum 4+ years in QA automation, with hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing.
* Proficiency in Python Core, with recent experience.
* API Automated Testing
* Proficient in creation test Automation strategies
* Familiarity with Playwright (or willingness to learn).
* Experience in migrating tests from Selenium to Playwright is a significant advantage.
* Understanding of AWS services and their application in testing environments.
* Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Ability to analyze complex systems and provide effective testing solutions.
* Experience in leading QA initiatives or teams is a plus.
