About the role

We are seeking a qualified Cloud Architect. This role is responsible for performing the essential functions listed below and requires the skills and experience described.

 

Minimum qualifications

  • Proven experience delivering AI/Cloud FinOps engagements.
  • Experience with AI cost governance or FinOps operating models.
  • Strong understanding of AI cost drivers and token economics, including pricing, caching, model routing, and allocation.
  • Experience facilitating stakeholder interviews and workshops across Finance, Engineering, and Risk functions.
  • Experience designing RACI frameworks and decision-rights models.
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience consolidating and reconciling cloud billing and usage data from multiple sources.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture, infrastructure, security, and cost optimization.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance to development and engineering teams.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

 

Job responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of AI and Cloud FinOps initiatives, particularly governance and operating-model workstreams.
  • Conduct structured stakeholder interviews and workshops with Finance, Engineering, Risk, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Develop RACI frameworks, governance structures, and decision-rights models.
  • Analyze and consolidate multi-source cloud billing and AI usage data into clean, reconcilable baselines.
  • Apply knowledge of AI token economics, including pricing, caching, model routing, and allocation concepts.
  • Provide guidance on AI and cloud cost governance, optimization, and accountability.
  • Coordinate stakeholders and drive engagement activities through completion.
  • Own regular client check-ins and communicate progress, findings, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Lead phase-end presentations and executive readouts.
  • Support the design and implementation of cloud solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
  • Ensure cloud solutions follow best practices for security, performance, compliance, and cost optimization.

 

Compensation: The anticipated base pay range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000 per year depending on experience, skills, location, and internal equity.
