Engineering Manager

We are looking for an Engineering Manager who shares our passion for innovation and change. This role is critical to helping our business partners evolve and adapt to consumers' personalized expectations in this new technological era.

What will help you succeed:

• Speak English fluently.
• Having a leadership role and guiding a team technically.
• Hands-on experience as a Software Engineer (mandatory) in tech stacks of Java, Node.js or Ruby on Rails (6+ years).
• Knowledge of architectural patterns (monolith, SOA, microservices, N-tier, etc)
• Excellent understanding of Design Patterns (Singleton, Facade, Factory, Proxy, Adapter) and API gateways VS (elastic) Load Balancers
• Knowledge of Databases: SQL / No-SQL / Cloud DBS , with specific argumentation when choosing one over the others.
• Knowledge of Languages, frameworks, DBS, Cloud Solutions, open-source - solid argumentation about why choosing something.
• Understand concepts like: interoperability, observability, throttling, auto-scaling, caching levels and mechanisms, optimistic locking mechanisms, change data capture mechanisms, very performant search solution
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
