Data Engineer with Python and GCP, Senior - Colombia

We seek a Data Engineer, Python and GCP, Senior who shares our passion for innovation and change. This role is critical to helping our business partners evolve and adapt to consumers' personalized expectations in this new technological era.

What will help you succeed:

• Hands-on experience developing data processing software, operationalizing data storage infrastructure, and implementing data migration strategies. Experience interacting with stakeholders to translate complex requirements into architectures while managing expectations at executive and technical levels.

• Seniority: 3+ years of experience developing data processing algorithms, with 2+ years specifically working across cloud platforms and customer-facing projects.

• Cloud: GCP

• Must-Haves: Python, SQL, and PySpark. Data platform, lake, and warehouse architecture (BigQuery, Dataproc, Dataflow, Dataplex, Composer), along with modern analytical engines (Databricks, Snowflake). Relational DBs (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle). Streaming and batch processing (e.g., Kafka, PubSubs). Familiarity with NoSQL DBs (MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase, DynamoDB, Redis, Bigtable) and BI tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau, QlikSense, QlikView).

• Nice-to-Haves: Scala, Apache Beam, and Hadoop. IaC and CI/CD/DevOps tools (Terraform, Git actions, GitLab, Jenkins). Infrastructure components (Linux/Bash, VMs, GKE, Kubernetes). AI / ML, LLMs, GenAI, or ML Ops.
