We are currently on the lookout for a highly skilled and experienced Subject Matter Expert in Data Engineering ​​​​​​who shares our passion for innovation and change and who will be part of our Data & AI Studio, where we define and build the best data products and strategies to meet our Clients' needs. This is a high-impact role where you will influence our data architecture, drive best practices, and help power critical business decisions through reliable and efficient data systems.

You will get the chance to:

• Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for data engineering initiatives across the organization;

• Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes using modern tools and platforms (e.g., Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, GCP);

• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to ensure data solutions meet business requirements and scalability needs;

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and data models;

• Conduct code reviews, establish best practices, and ensure data quality and governance standards are met;

• Act as a liaison between all stakeholders and global data teams, ensuring seamless communication and alignment;

• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data engineering and analytics.

What will help you succeed:

• Proven extended experience in data engineering, software engineering, or a related field;

• Deep understanding of data architecture, ETL processes, and data integration frameworks;

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java;

• Hands-on experience with big data tools and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP);

• Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and tools like dbt, Snowflake, or Redshift;

• Native-level fluency in German and excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written);

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
